What we need ... to create the perfect silhouette

Almost any image can be made into a personalised silhouette, however, some are better than others. 

• Choose an image of a strong, recognisable and distinct shape.

• For best results we recommend an image with a simple or plain background.

 

Minimum requirements:

• We support JPEG and PNG photos. You can send us JPEG photos (files ending in jpg. and .jpeg) with a size that goes from 20 kB to 25 MB

• Please check our resolution guide below to make sure that your image will not look pixelated when in the size you selected.

• Once we receive your picture, we will be in touch to confirm suitability.

 

Recommended resolution guide:

When ordering, you should select a frame size that is appropriate to the resolution of your image.

The below table shows the minimum acceptable image size in pixels for each print size

(based on the longest edge).
